	  a socket.
	The return value of netstring_verify() when called with a list
	  argument in scalar context has a new meaning.

	The functions now accept as an argument a list reference in
	 addition to scalars and lists.

	Add POD documentation for each function.
	netstring_encode() and netstring_decode() return a different
	 value for a list argument, if called in scalar or list context.
	netstring_decode() returns "" instead of undef for decode
	 failures.
